Playing online Mahjong is much simpler than the original Mahjong game. It has been simplified to make the game faster and more exiting. You don’t even have to learn the different rules and hands to play the game, although it could be an advantage.

In online Mahjong you start with a “ready hand,” which means you need to choose one tile to complete the hand. You get 3 attempts to complete the hand - that’s as complicated as it gets.

21nova offers 2 versions of Mahjong: Solo and Solo Pro. These versions can be played either after WMF or Japanese rules. The differences between the versions and rules are explained in the Help section of the software.

Place your bet by choosing your wager amount.

When your bet is placed click on “New Game” and the tiles will be shuffled.

You have 3 attempts to choose the right tile to complete your hand.

Choose one of the tiles facing down by clicking on it, and continue until you either received the completing tile or you have used all three attempts.

Whenever you click on a tile and it is not the correct tile, a “No Hand” info will be shown and your tile will automatically be moved to the “Discarded Tiles” section.

If you choose the right tile to complete your hand, a pop-up window will appear and announce your win.

It also shows which hand constellations you were able to make by help of the tile, and how many points you received for each hand.

Click on “New Game” to continue to next game round.
